Introduction
This paper will assess the component information systems needed for an effective restaurant information system. It will identify the objects and the classes that are required in a given system. In general, the information system for a restaurant requires a patrons order be placed, prepared, served, billed and inventory updated. This process involves several stages from when the customer first walks through the door, is seated and a waiter is assigned to when the accountant processes the year end data.
