Introduction
Motivation is the drive that an individual has towards a certain goal. Motivation contributes by influencing the effort and interest that an athlete puts to a task. Hager (124) in his study describes motivation as a personal matter because what motivates an individual at a certain time may not motivate another individual at the same time.
