The spark which burgeoned Arab Spring in 2011 has presented the feasibility of democratization in Tunisia. Beyond the young “Tunisian street vendor” setting himself afire in protest demonstrations in 2011, one initial response of the government was to shut the Internet down (“Arab Spring Research Guide,” 2015).
