Part 1. Differences between quantitative and qualitative research
Research is the parlance used to refer to the search of knowledge. It is described by Kothari (2004) as both a scientific and systematic search for information and an art of scientific investigation. There are two approaches used in research, namely quantitative and qualitative research and they vary greatly on how the research is done.
