I do not see why it is not an acceptable solution to let such children dress as they want and play with whatever toys they want without making this contingent on a sex change process. It seems to me that this may be why there are more boys than girls with this problem: girls can get away with playing with "boy" toys and wearing "boy" clothes without it being anthologized.
