Abstract
Prostate cancer is characterized by carcinoma of a gland in the male reproductive system and it typically develops in men over the age of 65. There is an assortment of treatment options in managing prostate cancer including: chemotherapy, hormone rehabilitation, surgical removal, brachytherapy, and external beam radiation therapy (Clinical Journal of Nursing).
