Abstract
A nurse is likely to face different worldviews constantly in their line of work. Such worldviews are often shaped by different religious and cultural beliefs. The question of euthanasia for patients with terminal illnesses lends itself to different worldviews and interpretations. George’s condition of ALS has forced him to consider euthanasia. From, a Christian standpoint, this choice is wrong because only God the Creator has the authority over life and death. Also, Buddhism does not favor euthanasia.
