In 1932, Franklin D. Roosevelt, in the midst of economic depression, was designated as the President of America. He made remarkable success in the elections while receiving 472 out of 531 votes with Electoral College. He inflicted the most awful defeat since 1912 upon his rival from the Republican Party.
