Confucianism, Legalism and Buddhism in Early China
It is true to note that the Chinese history and culture has significantly grown over the centuries to its rich composition today. Ancient Chinese civilizations were influenced by various ideologies and principles that profoundly and holistically shaped their life systems from their national governance to family relationships and religion. Records of Chinese history have a rich collection of these ideologies that were coined by some of the most influential philosophers of the ancient life like Confucius. Buddhism, legalism and Confucianism are three such key religions and philosophies that will be discussed in the paper.
