Organizational structure refers to the typical hierarchical arrangement of authority lines, rights and duties of the organization, communications operations of the organization. It is used to determine the assigning, controlling and coordinating of powers, roles and responsibilities and the flow of information among the various levels of management within the organization. The structures of organizations are, therefore, used in accomplishing the set goals and objective of organizations. Due to these varied roles, there are various types of organizational structures.
