An Objection to Augustine’s Response to the Problem of Evil in On the Free Choice of the Will
A contemporary Catholic apologist sums up the problem of evil nicely: “If God is so good, why is his world so bad?” (Kreeft 54). In this paper, Augustine’s response to the problem of evil will be analyzed and found to be lacking as an adequate resolution to the problem.
