Abstract
Operations management is one of the central organizational functions, irrespectively of the field in which the company operations, producing goods or services. One of the most complex and, at the same time, intuitive concept in operations management is the transformation process, where the inputs turn into outputs and are delivered to the clients (Maagretta 1998).
