Abstract
Recently there have been unprecedented levels of structural policy changes in Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Australia. The economic crises, demographic change, the impact of globalisation are examples of current and future challenges that continue to bedevil the VET sector in Australia[ CITATION Lou04 \l 2057 ]. Socioeconomic as well as political forces have contributed to major changes in the VET system.
