I. Reliability of a Test
The reliability of a test is defined as its degree of consistency, stability, accuracy and predictability hence the repeatability of its scores. Generally, it refers to the extent to which the ultimate results of a given test are consistent over time thereby presenting a degree of accuracy representative of the total population considered under the study. Reliability is quantified in terms of reliability coefficient. The reliability coefficient give insight on the significance of the scores (Waltz, Strickland, & Lenz, 2010).
