The end of the movie presents defining moments where the truth is preceded by tragedy. Laertes strikes up a heated confrontation with Hamlet. This confrontation results into a fight between Laertes and Hamlet. Hamlet wins the fight by striking a fatal blow with his sword leaving Laertes bleeding to death.
