Furthermore, the concept of strategic leadership is regarded to be among most essential ones for every company. Those organizations which manage to implement into the core of the general strategy of their development the approach of strategic leadership, associated with the abilities to envision anticipate, maintain flexibility, and encourage the team to participate in creating strategic changes, demonstrate particularly successful performance. Nevertheless, it might not be enough for the organization to hire leaders, but it is also hugely important to develop managers’ leadership skills and contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of specific leadership styles.

Besides, such leaders typically do not have their own vision regarding the business, its goal, and missions as they are primarily focused on sufficient maintaining effective organization’s performance. It is noticeable that, despite, to certain extant, managerial leaders might contribute to making the organization a well-managed-one, the absence of vision in terms of the management might create the impression of lack of the sense of the purpose within the organization.
Secondly, autocratic leadership style is characteristic for the leaders who prefer doing all by themselves. Such leaders possess all the power, tend to make all the decisions, and are used to maintain their authority by using the approaches of threats, intimidation, force, punishment, or reward. Whereas the pluses of autocratic leadership involve the possibility of increasing of the speed of decision-making, such behavioral pattern of the leader is likely to reduce the employees’ motivation to active, creative, and innovative work.
Thirdly, the philosophy of the democratic leadership style is related to making strong emphasis of the equality of all organization’s participants. Before making the final decision, democratic leaders tend to take into consideration the thoughts and ideas of all the employees and establish the organization’s functioning in the form of a sufficient cooperation. Such style though, while contributing to the organization’s integrating, may lead to the decrease of the speed of decision-making within the enterprise.
Fourthly, a collaborative leadership style is related to involving of every employee in the leadership. Such style of leadership tends to ensure the blossoming of the vision within each organization’s member. However, it is essential to understand that such leadership may result in decreasing the effectiveness of decision-making process.
In addition to all mentioned styles of leadership, the styles of transformational and transactional leadership as well can be determined. In the essence of the transformational leadership there is the leader’s desire to recognize the needed change and to produce the organization’s vision with the purpose of inspiring of the employees and increasing their commitment to the company. In contrast, transactional leadership is limited with the focusing on the paying attention to the quality of the work performed by the employees.
Taking everything into account, leader has a potential to play influential role in the company’s enhancement. For enhancing the effectiveness of leaders, it is important for the company to pay attention to the development of leadership skills of managers and to contribute to creating specific leadership styles within the managers. In accordance with the most typical approaches, leadership styles can be managerial, autocratic, democratic, collaborative, transformational, and transactional.
