The court system has faced problems due to different changes and resolutions in the state of Georgia. The criminal justice system has changed with as the social setup changed, and the trend of victims’ rights has emerged in the courts. The system has handled various issues related to the victims and perpetrator. The state has ensured and supported the justice for all human wellbeing. Georgia’s judiciary system has faced some issues in court monitoring. The judges have considered on high profile cases instead of routine cases. Different violations have occurred in the courts during a hearing of the high-profile cases like court administrative staff has refused to provide related information on exact date and time of the hearing. The criminal courts, judges, and managers have faced many obstacles in the region like language barriers and availability of the courts. The big challenge for the courts is to ensure that the law is being followed, and people understand that law in an appropriate manner.
The language problem is significant in the judiciary system of Georgia that intercepts the essential information and communication (Transparency International Georgia, 2013). Georgia State has tried to take care of human rights for their wellbeing. Georgia has created different laws and acts to carry out victims’ rights. The state has provided rights to the victims tried to solve the language problems. If any victim has limited English, then interpreter can be hired for the case proceeding. The Georgia crime victims’ bill of rights provides certain rights to the victim. These rights include the right to receive accurate, reasonable, and timely notice for case proceeding, the right to treated equally, fairly, and respectably, right to privacy, and others (Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia, 2015).
