Five methods used for Integration are formation of teams, ensuring effective communication, development of an implementation plan, ensuring interaction between employees, and ensuring proper training of employees. Formation of team helps in ensuring smooth functioning and accomplishing work in a timely manner. Ensuring effective communication helps in encouraging information flow, and helps in making employees aware of important matters and promotes collaboration. Development of an implementation plan helps in ensuring timely management of activities, interaction between employees help them to communicate and collaborate in order to solve important matters, and give new ideas for solving the problems that they face. Ensuring proper training of employees makes them capable of performing functions in an effectual manner across different division, and training makes them capable of working in cross functional manner so that they can serve different departments in an effectual manner.
The criteria that I would use in order to determine the best approach is a analyzing the consequences of the approach like advantages and disadvantages, and afterwards using the approach that is best suited for the functions and divisions of the company. I would select the approach that is providing maximum benefits to divisions and functions of the company, and is also facilitating employees to work in an effective manner. For example, in above mentioned approach I would select the method of ensuring effective communication, because the advantages of this approach are more as compared to other approaches. For example, effective communication helps in ensuring diversity, in ensuring business at global level, increasing morale of employees, and in building team for ensuring accomplishment of every task in an effective manner, and also for ensuring welfare of employees.
