Hi Marcus,
It has been long since I wrote to you, but after my last trip I decided to share my experience with you. I would like to tell you about my experience of travelling to India last winter. From the day I landed in New Delhi, I experienced an explosion of colour and taste like never before. Every person I met during the trip was helpful and I felt like I never left home. I am a huge fan of Indian food and visiting the birthplace of Indian food made me realize that there is a major difference between authentic Indian food and the food served in our country
India has several historical monuments and every year several tourists visit India for its historical cities and monuments. The country is made up people from different religions, backgrounds and people speak multiple languages, but it is astonishing, that despite all differences people live with each peacefully. The best experience was visiting the historic Taj Mahal in Agra that remains as beautiful as is described in the popular media. Another thing I realized is that India is a country built around stories and has a romance associated with it. Thousands of years of recorded history and several millenniums old religions make India a fascinating experience for travellers.
There is nothing more interesting than exploring a new country and falling in love with it. While leaving India I realized that I was missing out on another world. India and its people, culture, religion, languages, food, smell, and many other things leave a lasting taste with you. All I can say is that visiting India provided me with an experience that I would never forget in my life. Throughout my journey, I realized that everyone should visit India at least once in their life.
