What is a Google Form?
A google form is a very great tool that can be used for several purposes such as giving a quiz, planning events, sending a survey or collecting other information or data in a convenient, easy and streamlined way. It is the best platform for conducting an online survey. A google form can be linked to a google spreadsheet which automatically collects the sent responses. The whole platform enables any person to create a survey and ask for opinions from the respondents via email. Respondents can answer questions from a variety of web browsers, which includes mobile Smartphone and tablet browsers.
How does a Google Form work?
The best thing about a google form is its ease of use. It can be used to collect feedback on anything in a survey. After structuring the questions or creating a survey based on the information needed, a form is created, and respondents can be invited by email. Once the respondents give their opinion, the responses are sent automatically to the spreadsheet. The owner can then be able to collect and analyze information. The respondents can give their opinions from the comfort of their mobile devices e.g. Smartphones and tablets. The same applies to the person conducting the survey.
How can a Google Form be used in the classrooms?
A google form can be used in the classrooms for collecting information from the students and parents due to its flexibility and ease of use. The information that can be collected include name, contacts, science observations and book reviews . The students can also be requested to give their opinions on different lecturers hence enhancing the quality of learning. Additionally, students can also vote for their leader using a google form.
