VIBS Celebrates 40th Anniversary with Gala Honoring Prudenti, Salkin, and Kramer
Islandia, NY – April 11, 2016 – Victims Information Bureau of Suffolk (VIBS) will celebrate its 40th anniversary by hosting a gala dinner on May 11, 2016 at Carlyle on the Green in Farmingdale, New York.
The evening will commemorate VIBS forty years of assisting survivors of domestic violence, rape and sexual assault in the greater Long Island area. Honorees will include:
Honorable A. Gail Prudenti, former Chief Administrative Judge of the Unified Court System of New York and the Executive Director of the Center for Children, Families and the Law at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University
Patricia E. Salkin, Interim Provost of Graduate and Professional Divisions, Touro College, Dean and Professor of Law, Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center
The Vibs Lifetime Service Award will be presented to Honorable Lynne Adair Kramer Esq., Former Board President of VIBS, Instructor and Director of the Court Observation Program at Touro College, accomplished author and natioanally recognized woman’s advocate

Established in 1976, VIBS has been at the forefront of the domestic violence and rape crisis movements by providing services, education, medical care, and raising community awareness of the need for justice and compassion for victims of abuse.
