Director of Business, School of Business - Online
I am formally responding to the sanction I have received from your good office, by way of expressing my appeal for a reversal of the decision. As it stands, the charge of plagiarism against the Sanction Paper I submitted to the School of Business is one that may have corresponded to an unintentional matching of words from online sources. In lieu of that, I would like to inform the office that it is in good faith in which I tried my best to accomplish the Sanction Paper. I did not deliberately copy texts from other websites, given that I am well aware that sanctions await such action.
I, however, would like to emphasize that my efforts to check my paper from any form of unintentional plagiarism may not have pushed through at the best rate possible, given that online plagiarism checkers are highly mechanical in nature, to the extent that it detects proper nouns and common phrases as plagiarized text. With that, I apologize and at the same time, note once again that I have practiced good faith and prudence in ensuring the accomplishment of my Sanction Paper in good faith.
Yet, I would also like to note my wish to compensate my shortcomings in such regard with my satisfactory performance this term, as a matter of justifying my request for a reversal of the sanction against me. I was able to complete all of my subjects reasonably, including my Law 421 class that I have retaken with a satisfactory grade. As much as possible, I would like to finish the program on time, without any delays, which is why I made it a point to work hard and finish said subjects well. With that, I would like to use the 6-month period for the suspension for my remaining subjects in my degree program.
My motivation to finish the program satisfactory and in good faith motivates me to reason out for the reversal of the sanction on plagiarism against me, alongside my explanation that such act has been unintended on my end. Kindly consider my request on this matter. I ensure your good office that I would undertake tighter measures to ensure that my written outputs in the future are devoid of any unintended plagiarized content.
Respectfully Yours,
