Threat Level of Stakeholders
The stakeholders in Adidas are those who have an effect on the functions of the company. They comprise of employees, business associates and the legal operators. The employees pose a high threat to the enterprise. Their motivation level determines the way they offer their services to the clients of the business. Good service implies that the customers will be retained in the business and loyalty will also be built. However, poor services offered to the clients will push them further to their competitors, and this will result in few sales by the company (Chu, Cho and Luk 5).
The business partners are another group of stakeholders for the enterprise. They include suppliers and service providers. The suppliers have a high level of threat to the company due to their role in supplying of raw materials to ensure that the operations of the company run smoothly. The suppliers also ensure that products of the company reach the targeted markets at the right time and that there are no shortages incurred (Burger 1).
The legal operators such as the government pose a medium threat to the business if they abide by the set rules and regulations for running of their operations. The legal workers can be managed by the company if they are frequently updated on their policies and activities and avoid the issue of regular checkups (Chu, Cho and Luk 2).
Stakeholders who are Influencers or Shapers
The government represents a threat to the business due to the rules and regulations that have been put in place and required to be adhered. Organizations that are charity based are an opportunity that the company can take advantage of and do good in the eyes of the public. The charity organizations can further enable the business to create a good image hence acquiring more customers (Burger 1).
The civil society also works with the government to come up with effective policies that will influence the business operations. Therefore, active collaboration with the civil society will imply that they come up with policies that will have a positive impact on the business operations hence acting as an opportunity for the company. Active collaboration with NGOs can also have an effect on the activities of the company in that they can come up with effective policies that will see them thrive or can go contrary to these guidelines hence creating a threat (Edwards 434).
Strategies to address stakeholder concerns
Adidas Company is undertaking various strategies to address the concerns of their stakeholders. For the employees, equipping them with the right knowledge and skills is essential for the company. They are also coming up with various motivational strategies to ensure that the staff has a high morale towards work at all times. Constant communication with their suppliers to ensure that issues such as shortages will not be incurred by the company has also been one of the strategies adopted by Adidas. This has also helped the company to maintain a regular supply of their products in the various markets (Kaye 1).
The company has another strategy in plan of becoming a good sports industry in the entire market. They aim at having outstanding leadership and a further friendly work culture. The strategy will enable them to continue undertaking promotion in innovation, diversity and performance. Passion, assortment and honesty will also promote them in the corporate culture of business since it is fundamental to inspire team work, engagement and modernization. The company has further set up some pillars that will drive them and all their stakeholders. One of the pillars is having a culture that is embodied by internal role models who are usually leaders in the organization. These leaders will be expected to be an example for all the staff and in the long run serve as an inspiration (Channe 1).
