Dear Mr. Wonka:
As the agent for Mickey Mouse, you have been considered one of the favored clients of Spartan HR and all concerns regarding transactions that transpired between us needs to be duly communicated and addressed.
As the Account Executive of Spartan HR, I am hereby tasked by the firm’s owner Amy Hagerstrom, to formally advise you that in view of your endorsement for Mickey Mouse in the annual competition to name the World's Favorite Costumed Character, we regret to inform you that the first price for the 2013 competition has been awarded to Sparta, which received 48% of the vote. Therefore, not winning the top award was apparently due to the lesser number of votes that have been received and accounted for Mickey Mouse.
Despite not having won the top award, I am pleased to announce that Mickey Mouse actually came in third rank in the competition, behind Big Bird, by a very small margin. Therefore, not having won the competition this year should not preclude us from joining successive years’ competition. Since we have been made aptly aware that the ultimate aim of the competition was to affirm universal promotion for the rights of victims of violent crime, especially children; while creating a forum for empowering mascots to achieve their personal and professional goals, we would definitely design future strategies that would enhance Mickey Mouse’s image as an active proponent of human rights through asserting the public’s awareness of the need to avoid violent and aggressive behavior.
I hope the results would not discourage you to endorse Mickey Mouse as in next year’s World’s Favorite Costumed Character; but be an encouragement for us to do better.
In behalf of Amy Hagerstrom, thank you for your time and attention in this regard.
Very truly yours,
Account Executive
