Part II
The question of origin
Christianity is derived from Jesus Christ. It is said that Christianity traces back its roots to the first century AD and is engrossed in the Old Testament. Christians believe that god created the universe and everything in it. According to them, God is not part of the creation since He existed since time immemorial. He is not only said to have created the world but to have been actively involved in the creation.
The question of identity
This is aimed at giving the answer the meaning of being human. According to the Christian worldview, mankind is God’s intentional unique creation. Mankind has been created in God’s likeness and granted authority over all other creation in the universe. This authority applied on both livestock and plant life. Both plant life and livestock were supposed to provide them with food.
The question of meaning
Man has been made in the image of God. Christians believe that since they are made in the likeness of God, we are gifted with a brain and personality. Being created in God’s image has given man the responsibility to look for god, know his image and emulate him. With this, Christians maintain that they ought to glorify God as observed by several efforts.
The question morality
Our bodies are said to be a temple of God. Being created in God’s image has made it an expectation that man should be able to distinguish good from bad since they are equipped with conscience. However, this doesn’t imply that one should be able to everything to do when faced with problems. God has made a revelation of himself through Jesus who is to be his son
The question of destiny
Many Christian feel like they are bound to face condemnation if they don’t live according to Jesus’ expectations. It is said that no Christian is able to be liberated if there was a perfection requirement. Due to this Jesus has promised to be a link between man and salvation. Through Jesus, there are reconciliations that have been made possible due to his intervention
Voting in local or national elections
It is said that leaders are not only supposed to be political but also a spiritual one. Any leader who emerges a winner in elections is not said to have been chosen by the voters but by god’s intervention. When settling on a leader, we tend to analyse their spiritual dedication so as to make sure that the leaders we choose are closer to God unlike others in the electoral race.
Deciding on a future career
According to god’s creation, the exercise was carried out in six days where the last day of creation God opted to rest. As Christians, we are therefore to emulate our creator. Choosing a career is one hard task to perform. This is because job should give an allowance so that they could rest. This way, people end up knowing that despite the actives formulated during the week, they are able to accord praises and worship to the Supreme Being. Therefore, a job that guarantees such a chance is the most sought after because one will be able to worship too.
