I am writing concerning a grave error that I made regarding my acceptance. When I received the offer for transferring into the General Science program, the offer was declined. Studying at UCSD has been my dream for a long time. Indeed, after three years of hard work, not being able to attend UCSD now because of this error has the potential to ruin my future.
Declining the offer you have given me to attend UCSD was a stupid mistake. It was actually my roommate that declined the offer by mistake, while he was playing with my computer. Evidence of the fact that this was an error is the fact that I completed the statement of intent to register. If I had truly meant to decline the offer I would never have filled out the statement of intent!
This was a stupid mistake and the ramifications are potentially very big. It would be very disappointing if after the hard work and my rising hopes and dreams of attendance, I could not. I am begging of the admissions committee to reconsider my file and once again admit me into your university.
In sum, I believe that I would be an excellent addition to the campus of UCSD. It has been my dream to attend for a very long time. Declining your offer was an error committed by a roommate, and I always had the intention of accepting the offer. As evidence of my actual intention to accept the offer, I had completed other levels of paperwork, which would indicate an acceptance of an offer. I beg of you to readmit me into UCSD so that I may begin studying in September.
