Apple Company was established by Steve Jobs in April 1976 and incorporated in January 3rd 1977. Over the past years, the company has developed to become the leading computer hardware, software, consumer electronics and the digital distribution. Apple Company takes pride in making life easier and even more efficient for the consumers in the United States of America.
The founder’s vision statement was to bring the best personal computing experience to the students, educators, creative professional and the consumers across the globe through pits innovative software, hardware and internet offerings. In line with its vision, the company’s founder had a mission to ensure that while providing computing services to its clients across the globe; it remained committed to protecting the environment, employees’ health and safety.
The founder’s vision was to bring the best personal computing experience to the students and educators and the creative professionals have been realized. Today most of the students especially at the university levels and other professionals like lecturers and medical doctors are currently using the apple products. For instance, the university lecturers prefer using Apple computers because they believe that they are of high quality hence cannot disappoint them by crashing while they are in class. Most students prefer Apple computers because they believe they are of high quality. Therefore, it is prudent to note that most of the founder’s vision and mission have been realized.
The three characteristics of the founders vision which could be transferred to similar companies to improve their profitability include being committed to the provision of the best computing experience to the students, educators and creative professionals, committed to the ensuring environmental sustainability and also committed to provision of health and safety measures to his/her employees. The visions discussed above can make similar companies offering same products to be record high profit.
