Arizona Constitution
The Arizona Constitution (Article 11) is entitled education. It has 10 sections all of which describe the manner in which institutions of learning in the state should be carried out. These affect the manner in which the schools are run and also how different people benefit from it. Some of the effects of the system on education are as follows.
Section 1 is concerned about the special education. It provides that all the children with difficulties such as impaired vision or hearing have to be considered in the constitution. Therefore, there are all level of schools from kindergarten to university for this people. This provision makes the school system an equal opportunity where everyone has a chance.
The constitution also provides for the inspection of schools, and goes on to describe the body that is concerned with the inspection services (Sections 2-4). This implies that the school administration has to be well prepared to comply with the regulations so as to ensure that the schools are up to the expected standards. The supervision keeps the school management on their toes on how to improve their institutions.
One issue that has to be addressed when schools are mentioned is the financing. In this respect, the constitution provides in Article 10 that the funding for the school will be realized from the lease of lands and also other revenue from the government. This asserts the fact that the schools are well financed and can take care of the needs of the students, including the needy ones.
