The chapter of this article entails about how a person can use his or her vision to communicate with objects and things in the surroundings. The author, Henry M. Sayre wants us to realize that it is not enough that our eyes would just like to see what's in front, but he wants us to look beyond the object's message. It is a good to know that an author like Henry Sayre teaches people on how to be more observant that may possibly enhance the artistic side of a person. And, just by looking at a photo in the article, it will make you think of the message behind the photo, and that was Henry Sayre wants the viewer to enhance, and that is our visual literacy. This chapter will provide essential and artistic information that we as observers may not know that we have our abilities to visualize more than just by plainly looking at an object around us.
