Biography On Bio- Heather Nowell

Ms. Nowell graduated from William Carey University with a degree in Nursing, receiving a Presidential Scholarship for excellent academic performance. She has more than eight years of experience in the fields of project accounting and management for numerous construction and medical practices throughout the Mississippi area. She has extensive knowledge of management and accounting strategies, and has proven herself extremely competent and productive while managing a wide variety of demanding projects.
Currently, Ms. Nowell is the Project Administrator for Margaritaville Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi. Prior to that, she was the Assistant Administrator for Bienville Orthopaedic Specialists in Ocean Spring, Mississippi, acting as the Owner Rep for the new Medical Office and Ambulatory Service Center.
From 2005 to 2009, Ms. Nowell was the Project Manager for several expansion, rebuild and renovation projects for W.G. Yates & Sons Construction Company in Biloxi, Mississippi. Among these projects was the Katrina Rebuild Project for the Palace Casino Resort, a $75 million task that saw her supervising the rebuilding of a casino resort in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
Ms. Novell is an extremely dedicated and committed worker, always seeking to contribute as much as possible to her coworkers, her employees and her community. In her project management efforts, she is creative and innovative, always coming up with new solutions to problems and executing them in a streamlined and effective manner.
Ms. Nowell has been officially licensed with the State Board of Contractors in Mississippi, and carried a Minority Certified Business License from the same state; she also has logged more than thirty hours of OSHA safety training. She currently resides in Biloxi, Mississippi.
