Biography On Ghada Aldossary Auto

I am Ghada Aldossary, a 35 years-old Echocardiogram Technologist of Saudi Arabian descent. I am married with four kids. I graduated from Dammam College in 1999 with Chemistry major. I always thought that chemistry major would quickly get me a placement but after graduation it dawned on me that there were overly many graduates with chemistry major who yet to get employed. I did not find a good offer until I heard that one of our best Hospitals in Eastern province was seeking Electrocardiogram Technician. The hospital, Aramco Hospital as it is called, is located in Dhahran on the eastern coast of Saudi Arabia. It is the primary hospital of the Saudi Aramco Medical Services Organization which is the premier medical provider for the entire Eastern Province. Normal working hours at the hospital start at 7 Am ending at 4 Pm, and all employees are required to rotate in the on-call schedule in order to provide appropriate coverage for the entire cardiovascular unit. The echo lab is just one part of our complete cardiovascular unit where all noninvasive procedures starting from the EKG, Holter and Treadmill are performed. The echo lab performs both adult and pediatric echocardiogram through a protocol is line with the American Society of Echocardiography guidelines.
I started working at the hospital on January 2001 in the medical filled as an Electrocardiogram Technician. I was enrolled in all of kind of courses that could make me qualified for this job one of these courses it was EKG online course through California college of health sciences 6 month later I was nominated to join the Echocardiogram team. This was an on-job training and as I came to notice on-job training requires one to be hardworking and dedicated. I was trained under senior sonographer and pediatric. Honestly, this was not the best way to learn because the training lacked theory. In 2005 I was sent to the United States by my company to study Echocardiogram; there was no institution that offers Echocardiogram training in eastern province at the time.
I was enrolled to Southern Medical School. Pointedly, I enjoyed studying in this institution because of its serene learning environment and helpful faculty. I got my clinical training in Baton Rouge Medical center inpatient side and with cardiology outpatient clinic. Meanwhile, I was preparing to get registry exam through American registry of diagnostic sonographer. I must admit that I was really lost how to prepare myself until I was told from one of the senior sonographer to attend the most effective and popular method of review Dr.Edelman’s program. This turned out to be the best ever way to prepare for the registration exam.
In June 2006 I graduated with Echocardiogram Diploma. I also managed to pass the registry exams in the same year. I came back to Saudi Arabia as registered cardiac sonographer, perchance the first in the province. This gives me a lot of load because I have to maintain my registry and work as registered professional. I was given the title of Echocardiogram Technologist. I had to maintain my registration by keeping up-to-date by being member of the American Society of echo and Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and being involved in research work.
I once attended an ASE forum at Oregon Tec institute where the Echocardiogram completion program happened to be among the topics of discussion. After doing a small researcher about the program, I realized I could still enroll for the program even though I only has a chemistry major degree. I registered for the program in fall 2012. Ideally, I have a lot of courtesy to know everything about Echocardiogram.
