It is just outrageous how much attention is paid to the outer layer these days. What happened to inner beauty? Is it no longer that special part of each and every one? But this issue is so much more than about inner and outer beauty. An 8-year-old girl should be the one playing outsides and coming home all dirty. With all the pressure that education puts on kids these days, they lose their childhood fast as it is. At 8, everyone should be guaranteed fun. Fun at this age should come from dolls, from outside games, from rolling in the mud and not caring about how you look when you come home. The scariest thing is that parents don’t understand these things.

Legally Blond is a great movie. It is not only a funny comedy but truly does have a deeper meaning. I totally agree that Elle and her character is there to make a point. Throughout both of the movies we see her fighting with stereotypes but she does not give in. She knows her values and is ready to stand by what she believes. Many of the “strange” things he does lighten up the whole scene. There pink and fluffy accessories are there to make you smile. I think every person, male or female, has those little things that make him or her feel better, but so many are ashamed of the. Elle is completely confident in herself. She is smart, friendly and has a big heart. A woman like that will be a price to any work place.

I completely agree. Relations are great. Finding someone who understand you and will be there for you is a great thing. Finding true love is the dream of every girl. If we look at the Twilight example of love then it comes along as a strange one. When looking about Bella’s complete dedication to Edward there are two points of view. From the one side, I do agree that it sends a bad message to girls. Girls need to understand that a good guy is the one that will make them grow as a person and not someone who takes up all of your energy and attention. From the other sides, Bella’s and Edward story is a “special” one. The fact that he is a vampire is already a reason for Bella to step away from everyone and everything else. To be with him, she will need to do this in the future anyway. By shielding herself off from the “other” world, she is also protecting Edward and his secret. Unfortunately most little girls that read the book don’t see the other side of the picture.
The role of women has change a lot over the centuries. Today, people are a lot more open minded to not “labeling” women. Today the woman is in control. She decides what she wants to be and what role or roles she wants to play. It is completely true that modern advertising can be a bad influence on girls. However, this is an external influence. There have always existed things that lure children to the “dark side”. I believe that this is where parents come in. If the girl is not left by herself watching TV all day long, she will not get any wrong ideas. If parents dedicate enough time to their kids, get them involved, talk to them and explain what to them is so unclear, there will be no danger of girls starving themselves to look like someone from TV.
