A global business challenge that one foresees and anticipates to encounter after graduating from MBA is managing and motivating a culturally diverse workforce and determining how technological applications could be used as an instrumental factor in enhancing performance and productivity in the global work setting. As global organizations recruit, maintain, and develop human resources from varied cultural backgrounds, there is increasing challenge in determining motivational factors across culture and those that complement the culture of the organization. Likewise, with advances in technology, one expects greater challenges in using these applications in global organizations that encompasses all functional operations: marketing, finance, human resources, operations, administration, among others. All of these are relevant in one’s post-MBA career since theoretical frameworks would be put to test and one would determine how to best apply the concepts learned from various MBA modules.
