Business Plan
Summary
In our current market system, there has been a lot of competition recently for every product. This has led me to develop a complete and efficient business plan for rebranding a software drink so that it fits in the new demands of the current market. I am taking advantage of the dissatisfaction in the market for the software drink and recreating the same drink such that the market might find the drink appropriate.
Introduction
There are several ideologies that finally led me into going into business. Our current market system offers a lot of opportunities for any business to grow. I saw this and I decided to venture into this market and see how I could make a difference. The love for soft drinks in the market led me to think about developing a business on the rebranding of a soft drink. This is because introducing a new soft drink will be very costly and the time taken for the people to recognize the drink will be long.
In addition I might be wrong in evaluating the market’s response about this. I have thought of rebranding the Pepsi Cola drink since it has been under heavy competition from the Coca-Cola Company in the recent years. This rebranding will also include the changing of the product’s flavor. I think changing it into a pineapple-flavored drink will take the market by surprise and will surely make storms in the market.
Section II
This business is in the food’s category in the market. This is what customers consume each and every day. Based on our current economic point, the food and beverages industry is doing very well. Most customers are loyal to the brands in the market that they mostly consume. This is because they find no problem with these products. However, this industry is always changing. The introduction of new products, re-branded products is inevitable. This is what motivates me into entering this business plan.
The target customers in this industry are every class of people in general. This product does not have any allergic reactions to anyone. The product also targets the leisure-oriented people. Being a soft drink, most people will consume the product in leisurely places such as restaurants and bars. This product is good to all age brackets except kids under the age of 1 year.
There are several competitors in the market that we are venturing into. We are going into battles with already established brands that will do everything possible to retain their much needed customers. There are several companies that are already established in the soft-drinks market. A company such as the Coca Cola Company is an established company with vast resources and also large numbers of customers. These customers are the ones who keep the company in place. In order to establish ourselves, we need to develop very strategical marketing ideas in what we do. These marketing ideas need to be flexible and be able to sustain the company’s needs in a long period of time.

The company is the established Pepsi Company. This company ventures into the soft drinks market. This business plan is how to change one of the products of the company such that the new product will be marketable. This company produces a soft drink that is branded as Pepsi Cola Light. In my view, this product did not pick very well in the market. If we change this product into one that is easily acceptable by the world market will save the company’s resources not to go into waste. This will be rebranding it into Pepsi Pineapple. This will be a soft drink that is of pineapple flavor and will be of a different appearance all the same.
Section IV
In order for this to be accomplished, a team is needed. We need a marketing team that will provide the best marketing skills so as to help in marketing the product with little cost. These marketing strategies will also make sure that the product creates an impact in the market. We also need a production team that is efficient in what they do. This team will ensure that the product is of the best quality and is acceptable under the food and beverages standard conditions. This team will also ensure that the best production combination is used. This production combination will ensure that cost effective materials are used. The production team will also forward the quantity of materials needed for producing this soft drink.
The advertising team will help in the marketing of this product. These advertisements should be frequent and also they should make an impact in the market. We need creative advertising skills not just the skills we are used to. These advertising skills should catch the customer by surprise it is by this surprise that the customers will buy the products.
The best marketing strategy that will help the company is the differentiation based strategy. In this the product is unique in the market compared to other products present in the market. This uniqueness makes it the best strategy to work with. The public needs a product that is unique compared to others. In combining the above teams, we will arrive at a team that will produce the best product.
