Some of these implications result to the government making choices that directly affect the countries economy like choosing between a clean environments and buying food. Choosing a polluted environment but having sufficient food is an ethical implication where need that is more pressing or concern comes as the first priority. In many cases, rich countries take advantage of the poor or third world countries.
Many elites would refer this as advantage of dilemma to the poor countries that have no choice other than give in. the rich countries dump dangerous waste and garbage in the developing countries from where the latter utilize some of it to make fertilizers and recycled products like tissue papers and plastic buckets not forgetting plates. The rich countries go ahead to build plants that considerably pollute the environment from emissions for the purposes of evading regulations from their countries. It is from here that the third world countries get jobs and products that help them develop their welfare and country at large.
Transitional corporations producing dangerous chemicals in the first world find market in the third world countries equally benefiting the latter in terms of jobs and chemicals to help run the upcoming businesses. This is an ethical implication as the third world countries cannot make attempts of restricting the usage because if it did, it would become too costly for citizens trying to make their ends meet in the pursuit of earning a living. Such ethical implications are very common in Latin, African, Europe and Asian countries who end up being the greatest victims of the latter environmental inequality. As an addition to this and other problems created by the industrialization and development, third world countries end up suffering environmental difficulties because of war, poverty among others.
It is evident in the third world countries that there are many ethical environmental tribulations arising each day including air pollution, deforestation, water pollution, soil erosion, environmental poisoning and desertification. The third world countries are aware of these implications and they are working with them since they are of great benefits to them when it comes to development. International organizations like the UN have considered preventing the foreign countries from dumping waste materials in these developing countries. They have gone to an extent of asking and demanding that the transnational corporations should pay for the pollution caused in the third world countries. They also enlist the developed countries to help in cleaning up the environment of the third world countries making it the biggest ethical implication.
The reasons why the businesses conduct operations in the developing countries and disregard standards of controlling pollution are many. The third world countries contribute to this because they encourage the foreign countries to chip in and invest in their countries by putting up plants that benefit them. The government on the other hand lacks the confidence to put restrictions to the developed countries because they consider them as a benefit to the citizens who get jobs and products to make them better their lives. When firms enter a third world country, no regulations are present to protect the environment. They in fact get favors because they help develop the third world countries in developing their infrastructure. It is evident that some third world countries are desperate for development and do it at all cost including environment pollution.
Another reason why foreign businesses disregard pollution control is that they at times get these businesses already set in the foreign third world countries and all they do is take advantage because in their countries they get restrictions that prevent them from putting up such businesses that disregard pollution of the environment. Third world countries have gone through changes of transformation because of globalization. To the third world countries, globalization is helping them get closer to the developed world as they get more information on technology, better economy and better ways of socialization through education and civilization. Most of these transformations resemble the dramatic changes that the third world countries receive because of globalization and environmental pollution as a price to progress. Many scholars will understand this as results of developments.
In the recent past, globalization has been widely debated and in some countries like Russia; it is one of the important things happening. However, opponents have opposed this and have gone ahead to label it as neo-imperialism. Globalization has however played a big role in changing lives of people in millions and having in mind that there are many challenges in the same the job it has done is commendable. It should be clear that although there are many challenges that accompany development, there are numerous advantages and positive effects as well. Technology is one area that globalization has influenced and this has been both positive and negative but the positives outweigh the negatives (Dun, 2000).
Globalization has brought about environmental pollution where domestic and foreign industries pollute the environment. This has mostly impacted farmers who suffer loses due to chemical rain as a result of the fumes coming from the industries and waste thrown in to the rivers. Russia has seen many companies close down because of uncontainable competition from the outside world. Globalization allows imports and exports thus affecting workers, farmers and domestic companies who fail to meet the standards of the foreign countries and products.
Implication of globalization and its issues has had impacts in the past on international management practice. This is because a third world country like Russia is not able to make decisions on its own without consulting the international organizations. For a country to be in international trade, vetting has to be done by the World Trade Organization or other global organizations, which control international trade. Globalization has therefore lessened the work of managing international practice but burdened local companies, farmers and has created enormous impacts on the indigenous cultures (Dun, 2000).
Demographic groups and stakeholders are wondering what globalization is for but many are rejoicing the advantages it has brought along. For globalization to have a positive impact on a country, negative impacts must accompany it because it wipes the old ways of doing things and introduces new ones.
All human beings have a moral right to a livable environment regardless of the country they live in. it does not mean that because a country is going through a development process, human beings will not get infections from poor environmental conditions like polluted air and water. After all, every country has foreigners who deserve a good environment like the ones they leave in their home countries. Without a better environment, development will not make sense because it means the poor conditions are a result of developments.
Every country whether it is a developing country or not should have the environment as the first priority for human beings. Some investors leave their countries to go looking for better pastures in terms of economics but that does not mean that they live in poor environments in exchange of money. Health comes first and the money spent to treat diseases could be more than preventing and conserving the environment. It is therefore right to say that every human being deserves a livable environment and a clean one for that matter. There are many hazards that accompany polluted environment including death.
Wealthy nations have an obligation to provide poorer nations with help to develop greener industries and sources of energy like solar power, which has nothing to do with polluting the environment. In the recent times, globalization has been one of the most debated subjects and to some countries including Russia; it is one of the best things happening to the world through its proponents. However, opponents have opposed this and have gone ahead to label it as neo-imperialism. Wealthy nations have however played a big role in changing lives of people in millions and having in mind that there are many challenges but at the same time the job it has done is commendable. It should be clear that although there are many challenges that accompany globalization, there are numerous advantages and positive effects as well. Technology is one area that wealthy nations should influence and this has both positive and negative but the positives outweigh the negatives (barkin, 2004).
Wealthy nations have seen Russia evolve to better heights in many areas such as technology, education, transport and economy. It has also had negative impacts on many domestic companies cannot export and import things. Indigenous culture has gone away and what is left in Russia today is a mixture of cultural practices all in the name of globalization. Demographic groups and stakeholders are wondering what the neighboring wealthy nations are for but many are rejoicing the advantages it has brought along. For wealthy nations to have a positive impact on a country, negative impacts must accompany it because it wipes the old ways of doing things and introduces new ones.
With regard to pollution, I would require that all those countries and businesses polluting the environment pay double their investment to the third world countries. Globalization has a great impact, which included use of modern tools of communication and weapons. While many third world countries assume that innovations happen in western countries like the United States, technology also came to third world countries because of globalization. If there were no technology in the third world countries, there would be no information on new inventions and medicine. The two would have remained in the countries that introduced them and no other country would ever benefit. Technology has also affected the political and economic knowledge, which has spread wide and far. From any country in the world, one can access the politics and economy of Russia with the use of technology and because of globalization. The main function of the code is ruling over the cultural rules applicable to commercial marketing. The code has a design to encourage the consumption of products and services. It promotes institutions, ideas or concepts. It is for the general welfare of the public and community.
