In the mating market the male’s looks are not consider more important as to women’s but they still do matter. The handsome male appearance is mostly known to boost sales of colognes. Handsome is having a well-proportion, good – looking appearance and in males it’s mostly in the beholder’s eyes than in female beauty. Persons possessing either the female or male sex hormone markers make them attractive and fertile, virile and “hot” respectively. The ladies have a diverse way of assessing guy’s beauty this is simply means that women cares much more of a man’s status and resources. The varying in the assessment is because different women have distinct definitions of a guy with high status irrespective of their financial resources. This is clearly the true indications of women having different views on male’s beauty but majority of them are only concern of persons with resources.
Man’s sex appeal is influenced by his surrounding or environment, the female living in a health status place prefers men with “feminized” faces whereas those within a poor health prefers “masculinized” faces. This is so because they are thought to be robust Women perceive men based on want they desire that is those with short terms wants go for handsome guys and their wall size but those with long term partner will go for a man with the ability to support a family and fully committed to the relationship. The gay’s men prefer masculine faces whereas straight men desire an average woman with the most feminine face. Men, both straight and gay have more interest in their partners more than women do to their partners thou gay men tend to pay more concern to fitness and gloominess of their partners. Its convincing that the environment mostly acts as influencing factor as to who one desire in order to fulfill his or her wants
The writer(Flora) generally outline the fact that women are less concern with handsome in making choices of a male partner, while on the other hand men focus much on the beauty of a woman. This is evident in modern families whereby most couples are not a perfect match-ups, the wife in most cases is better-looking than the husband. 64 per cent of women are nowadays seen in relationships with guys who provides for their children and are in a good position to support the entire family while 69 per cent prefer being with a partner regardless of their income/ resources. This is also evident in most dating sites and in the social network whereby high number women are looking for men with resources compared to those in search of handsome guys without taking consideration of their wealth whereas men are mostly after women that are good looking.
