Introduction:
After going through the case scenarios it could be mentioned here that in order to run election campaigns smoothly, both Donald Drumph and Hillarity Clanton adopted unethical approaches in their own way. While Drumphs approaches were stark and affected the office environment, Clanton approached in a subtle manner, however considered utilising humanitarian issues to improve her position in the eyes of the voters.
An analysis of the situation and ethical consideration:
Drumph, the aspiring political candidate decided on recruiting women assistant for handling his campaigning activities. In this respect his unethical approaches towards women could be noticed prominently. He rejected all three women applicants on various unethical grounds and finally took help of Ibanka. Besides conducting personal interview in an uncouth manner that is exploring the feminine beauty, violating an individual’s chastity and even exploring the perfection of feminine curves agitated the secretory (Griffith 45). She was reminded of her own interview and finally she quit saving herself from hiscorporeal approaches. In short he continuously searched for women who would satisfy him physically through appearance or approaches. Besides this eliminating Tarheel the Christian born Muslim lady who refused to eliminate using headscarf was also rejected (Gunning and Holm 125).
After going through above unethical approaches it could be mentioned that as an election candidate Drumph violated both ethics and human rights law of US. Firstly he identified women as an embodiment of beauty who would constantly inspire him during work, and secondly his racial sentiments clearly highlight his approaches towards practicing inequality in the society.
In relation to Clanton, who too searched for office assistants and recruited Soshi to help her in election work highlighted her beliefs on equality, elimination of racial differences and focussed on promoting Afro-American rights. However at an election speech campaign her ‘body-man’ Hamed identified that she was speaking lie and behaved strategy. This she refused to accept and she fired him immediately (Jennings 78).
In this respect also it could be mentioned that inspite of promoting ethical values and rights of people, she herself violated the law and eliminated her assistant as she failed to face the truth.
In order to discuss the issue in detail the researcher here would refer back to the chapter 5 of the Legal Environment Book and study the difference between ethics, morality and understand human rights in detail. In this respect it should be mentioned that an individual or the business entity should be ethical to grow in the ‘long run’. In relation to these cases it could be inferred that candidates who were rejected have clear idea about the candidates and their approaches. They have understood that these are unethical people who are just running the campaign for improving their status and enjoy power. They would hardly help the people of the state and ensure developing a happy and respectable residing place by eliminating issues like, unethical behaviour, practice of discrimination or violence against women or fight against violation of human rights (Griffith 85). Finally to understand the ethical and legal issues in a significant manner the researcher would study from various ethical perspective and connect it with professional environment.
Conclusion:
Thus it could be mentioned that the issues could be explored in detail by referring to the Chapter 5 of the Legal Environment Book. Collecting information on ethical approaches will assist in presenting the discussion in a significant manner.
