Graphs, charts and diagrams are some of the effective things and techniques which used to assess the variability and effectiveness of a certain aspect. With the help of effective graphs, charts and diagrams it is become extremely essential for the analyst or the researcher to analyze the things in an effective manner. Graphs and diagrams have the remarkable tendency to clear the things in an effective manner in front of the researcher or the analyst. This is the main facet why number of people around the globe always tries to have and use such techniques comprehensively to understand these aspects clearly and in an effective manner.
Generally, upper management of an organization would not learn and read all the content in the report, and they only understand and read out the graphs for their effectiveness. However, the personnel have a remarkable capacity to understand graphs and diagrams that lend a hand in taking more effective and timely decisions in comparison with a person who don’t have such inclination. There are a number of aspects that are effective as far as analyzing the things are concerned, the name of Network Diagram is one of them. Network Diagram is a preferred technique that shows the activity based sequencing. A network based diagram is basically a systematic display of the logical based relationship among the project based activities and their core sequencing. In this particular exercise, which is Exercise-1, it is required to analyze and define the Network Diagram along with all of its core activities along with the assigned days in which the respective activity would be completed accordingly and comprehensively at the same time in particular. Here is the diagram
There is a project, with the name of Project X, and this particular diagram is associated with the same project. There are ten different activities in which the project would be done considerably. The activities start from A to J, and there are a number of days assigned with each of the activity. It has been seen and observed from the aforementioned diagram that some of the works are interrelated with each other like there are some works on which different activities would have been considered and done accordingly which is an effective sign. The first work of the project lien with three different activities, which particularly are Activity A, Activity B and Activity C, which applied on Project Line 2, 3 and 4 simultaneously
Activity A would take the time period of one day in its completion, while B and C will acquire 2 days and 3 days respectively. From the list of the project, it is found that project G has the highest amount of days in particular which is 6 days, while activity E has the second highest days which are 5 days. The project starts on the data of August 3rd, 2009. The figure mentioned above is relatively looking like the figure of 6.4. Table 6.1 shows the slack of the Project X and again it has 10 different activities presented to complete the project in an effective and organized manner. From the table of 6.1, it is found that the shape of the diagram would remain the same as the above, however the assigned days with each of the activity would change considerably commiserates with the Total Slack and the utilization of the activity to complete the Project.
