Intolerance

The sense of brotherhood among people is no longer existing; instead, there is a sense of hatred and mistrust. People don’t trust each other at all thinking that everyone is out to get them.
Greed
When thinking about wars in the society and the world at large today, the biggest reason that is realized is greed. However in the real sense, they are after the land and natural resources of other countries.
Lack of Education
Lack of awareness and ignorance has also proved to be one of the causes of violence. This takes effect when people are not provided with proper education and knowledge. Talking of proper education is not just all about schooling but also the role that the elderly play in taking the responsibility to teach the young on how to behave and act. Ignorance provides an easier platform for the non-educated to be manipulated and convinced into violence (Traylor, 2014).
Racism
A lot of violence have been as a result of racism in the world. In this case, individuals see it better to connect to the people that are their look-alike regarding color and do not trust those who behaves or looks differently. Even though apartheid does not officially exist, in a number of countries the existence of racism is still evident. Additionally, talking about racism is not just about skin and color, but people from various have stereotype thinking and do not trust each other.
Religion

Most religions talked about scriptures comparison and non-violence which is not commonly put into practice. The religions and the scriptures have always been manipulated by the religious leaders to get to the power of the masses. For a long time now, the purported holy wars have been fought, and they are still in the process as a result of poor stand by some of the religious leaders.
