China with an official name of People Republic of China is basically a sovereign state, specifically located in East Asia. China is known as the world most populous country with a population of over 1.35 billion. China is basically a single party state governed specifically by the Communist Party. The entire political system based on the communism of a single democratic party. It is one of those countries of the world which has socialist states espousing the communism. The Government of China has been described as a socialist and communist merely because of the restriction on the freedom of assembly, reproductive rights and other important aspects (Dreyer, 2012). The country is ruled by the Communist Party of China (CPC), and the power related to the same enriched in the constitution of China. The electoral system of the country is perfect and democratic as well, in which every single person has the right to cast their votes and also has the right to elect the government they want. When it come to political freedom, then China is an independent country in which the amount of undue influence is on a lower level, which is indeed a positive sign for a country because in this environment, people can raise their voice against any mishap or against any action which is devastating their rights (Hayes, 2012). Apart from thee positivity, there are some risks associated with the country as well, including the risk of the control line with India. The strategic alliance of China with India and some of the other Western countries is not as effective as it has a strategic alliance with Pakistan; therefore, it is a need for the country to enhance the level of alliance with different counterparts in order to be competitive.
