Introduction
Still, everything is hardly so nice, because the task for this essay exactly is to ponder over you run your own tourism company. Its narrow specialization is to provide the visitors with apartments and other dwelling spaces. The right to be place where I would like to settle my small organization goes to Montenegro (or Crna Gora as is said among the people who reside within this locality).
You may have asked yourself why I wanted to choose this certain one. So, the answer is more than just clear. This is because this small territory on the place of the Former Yugoslavia became independent of Serbia and Montenegro in 2006. Here, an enjoyment for both rich and poor people undoubtedly interlocks. I really tend to support the idea that everybody is able to find something of his or her own at this place.
It reveals to be a very decisive step to start a tourism business in the country representing the Balkan Peninsula. To be honest, Montenegro became so popular among tourists during the last five years. Still, the Montenegrin government (2015) stated that it “expects at least 2.5 billion euro of foreign investment in tourism over the next five years, mainly in large projects on the coast.” An interesting fact is that many celebrities have already bought here a floor space and have moored their bright yacht, for instance, in Budva.
At the same time, it should be obligatory noted that the state needs to progress further and to tackle corruption and other problems concentrating from Podgorica – the capital city – to the villages behind the state bounders.
Industry and Location
Let us get close to the industry itself. It was said earlier that my company would help the visitors from any country to book any room or house they want to settle in. Fortunately, I have many Montenegrin friends who have their own space floors. Earlier, they did not know what to do this their goods. I had a wonderful proposition to put our common strength into the side of creating a small net of tourism business in Montenegro. As Byron (n.d.) noted, “The most beautiful contact between the earth and sea took place at the Montenegrin littoral” Our apartments are going to be for everyone – from well-to-do families to extremely rich ones. The difference between the rooms and houses is actually hidden in the conveniences provided. Among the huge list of conveniences, I would like to single out the following:
1) room-to-sea distance;
2) presence of air-conditioner;
3) location (city or settlement).
Decision-making
In general, we will have a powerful system of hotel rooms on the same coastline starting from the city of Budva and ending with the Albanian sea bounders; still, our working alternative appears to be a small net of houses not far from the abovementioned hotels. Frankly, it is not as popular as a Sveti Stefan resort’s floor space, but we will probably have a stable income due to the price policy we have set per one house. Together with the outlet to the fascinating Adriatic Sea, the price for conveniences presented may seem attractive for both newcomers and us. A low rate of rich people settling and a high price for taxi services are assumed to be the main limitations here.
It seems to be obvious that all the entrepreneurs worldwide are to make distinct decisions day by day. Still, according to the research by Jones and George (2013), “Sometimes those decisions come back to haunt them if they turn out poorly”. The process of decision-making has always been an ongoing challenge for everyone.
Management Process
As Block (2014) claimed, “The ideal is the enemy of the real.” For this issue, it must be said that we are not trying to be the best; still, we seeking a comfortable place around that “ideal”.
For this issue, we have decided to create a set of managing appointments. From now on, there will always be a person, who will be in charge of a building occupancy, untwisting a company, and creating a renovated clients’ database. As there are only five of us, there will hardly exist any hierarchy.
According to Seabury (n.d.), “To succeed in business today, you need to be flexible and have good planning and organizational skills.” To reach this, we have agreed to follow such tips as to keep detailed records, to analyze the competition we are in, to prepare to make some sacrifices, to stayed focused, and, of course, to be creative.
The last tip stands for a situation when we will try to imagine we do not know everything on the Montenegrin tourism market and to be open for any new ideas, prompts, and approaches. When the word “sacrifices” was heard, it was meant not money donations only, but for example, spending less time with your family. Still, I was elected to be a chief person in the company, so I have determined the rule to gather all the managers to solve any business obstacle faced. Our competitive advantages are perfect notifications from our newly arrived visitors and a quick outlet to the local cuisine right in the hotels’ ground floors.
Global Environment
If we manage to forecast our near future, it must be confidently noted that there seem to be no reasonable situations to just not to keep calm. Moreover, some our competitors are considerably indebted to the state. According to PESTLE analysis, we will have to draw attention to political forces, as they are capable of limiting support for innovation, and to the technological one, as we have to make our floor spaces well equipped. Still, there are also sociocultural and economic ones. Frankly, economic forces can relate to our business, if the corruption level will increase rapidly only. In general, I must say, Montenegro feels an impetuous economic growth nowadays. So, we will hardly met some obstacles with this. Concerning the sociocultural one, we are going to have neither problems nor violations, because people’s lives are the main value for us and we try to be good friends to the local law.
I would not actually say that there are barriers of entering the industry at all. There is just a set of rules that you have to stick to. If you want to enter the tourism industry (specifically – hotel business), you are to, at least, live there. Apart from this, an entrepreneur’s duty is to pay a fee from seventy to three hundred euros per month.
Finally, talking about our future customers, I would actually note that their amount seems to grow season by season as both the country and our services develop
