In my point of view, Cirque du Soleil has effectively incorporated various cultures into their performances. In essence, the company has been one of the most successful companies in the global circus industry thanks to its successful incorporation of diverse cultures into their performances. In fact, Ghazzawi, Martinelli-Lee, & Palladini (2014) maintains that the company has continued being among the most prosperous corporations in the entertainment industry history. It is vital to note that the diverse cultures continue to contribute significantly to the performances of the company. In essence, the artists from diverse cultures help the company provide exceptional performances in different countries where it is found. Leslie & Rantisi (2011) maintain that the company is recognized worldwide for its innovative type of circus production. In point of fact, this has been facilitated by the successful integration of various cultures into the company’s performances.
I think that Cirque du Soleil will integrate the future technologies such as augmented and virtual reality to their entertainment experienced. In my point of view, the company will provide its customers with headsets to stimulate their hearing and vision and, as a consequence, make them feel as if they are experiencing the enthused reality directly. As Venables (2013) reports, the company already uses lots of automation in its shows in Las Vegas. In essence, this automation has been making the value offered exceptional. For this reason, I do not think that technology would destroy the current value offered by Cirque du Soleil. Instead, I believe that technology will make the experience created by the company overwhelming. According to Porges (2014), the company combines technical muscle, surreal scenery, and muscle of human type, which works to generate an experience, which is pretty awesome. I believe that technology will make the experience and value offered more awesome than this.
