What was the client’s business problems? How does your solution help solve the problem?
The Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC) had the problem of providing affordable healthcare to people with disabilities. For this reason, the organization issued RPF for the purpose of ensuring that all residents with disabilities benefit from outreach programs on healthcare. The organization had the problem of ensuring that all people with disabilities received proper healthcare. The solutions provide the processes and procedures that would help the organization provide healthcare that suits the needs of all people with disabilities. The guideline provides a focus on the actions DMHC should take to develop a healthcare system that is efficient and straight forward for people with disabilities to use.
What are all the components and subcomponents requested by the client in the RFP?The RPF outlines components and subcomponents that the organization needs addresses.
Foremost, there is a need to put forward guidance and education training to furnish people with disabilities with the essential information on how to go through California’s dynamic health care structure. The consultancy firm is expected to coordinate a technical team of experts in disability issues and other stakeholders who will offer assistance and education. In addition, requests for the use of surveys to appraise progress and make supplementary recommendations. Second, there is a need to evaluate the Affordable Care Act and the present system of the organization used in customer assistance training.
What questions or concerns must you address to finalize your RFP?
In addressing the RPF, there is need to address a number of issues. Foremost, it must address and define the problems of the current system that does not encourage proper healthcare provision for disabled persons. It must define and assess the requirement needs for improving healthcare provision for the disabled. The RPF must address requested tasks as well as business problem. In addition, it needs to address the format and contents of the RPF. There is the need to consider the close relationship between RPF and I/O psychology since both involve the study of human behavior in health sector. Finally, the RPF needs to address a critical analysis of prior researches on the topic in the form of empirical analysis and theoretical tests in order to ascertain efficiency of the framework.
What I-O literature did you leverage to substantiate your recommendation in a scholarly manner?
The literature used for proper analysis of I/O psychology was Likert, R. (1932). A Technique of Measuring Attitudes. Archives of Psychology, 140, 5-54. The book was chosen above the rest for its eficiency in explaining the scientific structuring of organizations and restructuring of work to enhance productivity and quality of lives of individuals at work. The publication provides a fuller meaning of the endeavors of I/O psychologists in trying to provide solutions to problems people face at workplace as well as creating an understanding of life at work place while providing sound scientific knowledge base.DQ 2 What questions or concerns must you address to finalize your RFP?
In order to finalize the RPF, it is imperative to address various I/O psychology activities such as analysis, of organizational performance, employee behavior, client behavior, and response, and empirical, and theoretical testing, of systems to ensure they are functional and efficient. In addition, it is crucial to outline its requirements, purpose, and scope of work. One has an interest in helping populace with disabilities, possessing familiarity in charitable projects to help poor people with disabilities access medical care by bringing the services close to them.
