Nowadays, information and technology is evolving rapidly, as the time passes. New technologies are evolving and we need to make it possible to deliver this computing technologies everywhere in the world. Such high tech technologies as: Internet, open source software, parallel computing and server virtualization are regarded as possibility for computer resources delivery. The term “cloud computing” is used to describe the relationship among these technologies. The term cloud computing has a lots of definitions, but there is no exact one, as new technologies emerge with old one, forming this cloud.
The cloud computing have three main characteristics that everyone agrees with: unlimited computing resources, no long-term commitments and pay-as-you go structure. Unlimited computing resources such as: data space storage, computing power or user ID’s for application are always available when requested. This makes high-tech agility when business needs are involved. No long-term commitments are available 24/7 and have strict age deadline, as they are on definite time basis. Pay-as-you go structure explains, that cloud computing costs are not stable, they always vary. This costs vary on the amount of usage the system does.
Google use hardware virtualization as epitomized version of cloud computing. Hardware virtualization refers to the abstraction of computer resources. Google allow to use small number of physical computers, which can run a lot of different system applications at the same time. Hardware virtualization is basically a term used to show a relationship between computer abstraction and computer resources. A small number of physical computers can do the procedure, running under provided application servers.
There are three types of cloud models: public, private and hybrid. Public clouds are mostly owned by third parties. Companies usually use them in data centers, which are located outside of companies. Multiple groups of companies can share one data center. Each company data has its own aims and restrictions. Google Company also has public cloud storage, which can be accessed any time. Private clouds are bought by the company, it can be operated by a computing provider, but its main goal is to do operations within the company. Private clouds are often built for individual company. It maximizes the use of its personal computing resources. Hybrid clouds is the combination of public and private clouds. Individual company usually makes this clouds for specific needs. Hybrid clouds operate between each other at the real time. Servers can be in or outside the company, but they interact at the same time.
Companies engage in growth by merging with other companies. The profit that these companies can make usually come from customer desires. Cost savings in technology does bring that much earnings. Lots of money are brought by generating fast revenues that come from successful expansions and products appearing on the market. Noncore activities are being outsourced by now, as this allows to pay more attention on products and services that clients ask for. Companies that work together, using BMP can provide special business services, to satisfy the client. BMP systems usually monitors different company’s inter-actions and provide special reports, that the company requests.
