The student possesses the effective persuasive skills in order to shape the decisions of other in accordance with his inclinations. The student is also found to be a critical thinker and a good planner because the student is able to determine his course of life by means of identifying what he really wants to achieve. Goal identification is necessary to determine the future inclination and as it is clearly identified by the student on account of acquiring higher studies from the United States, the student has planned the practice of a specific approach in order to persuade his parents. The student understands that the decision that is supported and rationalized on the basis of facts is agreed by the other people in an effective manner rather than practicing the emotional approach. In this manner, the student has presented the factual reasons about the benefits of pursuing academic career in the United States is accepted by his parents.
The employee has illustrated the effective passive persuasive skills in which the employee has made his boss aware about the contribution that are incorporated by him. The boss had neglected the contribution of the employee by means of inadequate compensation plan. The employee has made the boss aware about his workload and work contribution so that the boss feels the need of appreciating the efforts of the employee. The employee has also incorporated the strategy of “extra push” by means of showing the signs of inclining towards switching the job towards a better job opportunity due to which the boss has felt the need of retaining this employee by means of offering the effective compensation plan.
