In essence, the core competency of Tyloc Industries is the use of biodegradable raw materials to produce household furniture. Notably, the materials are acquired in a sustainable way as when one tree is cut, two are planted in its place and nurtured to maturity. The company boasts of having 2000 hectares of land. Trees are planted on this land, which is the core source of raw materials. As result of this, Tyloc is among the leading producers and distributors of household furniture. Apart from that, the brand is among the top ten most popular firms in the region. If the company is listed on the table in the textbook, the secondary competency of the business is the efficient marketing program. The company has a well-coordinated marketing team that contains representatives at all strategic market positions.
In essence, the use of biodegradable raw materials is a core competency of Tyloc Industries because most furniture producers use materials that are not biodegradable, like plastics and fiber materials (Fowler et al. 1781). Some customers who are mind about the environment sustainability would prefer Tyloc Industries products. Therefore, this makes Tyloc acquire an edge over competing companies.

I do not agree with the paper entirely as I think the student may have misinterpreted something regarding the success of artists. It is no doubt that an artist needs a reliable partner to get their brands out there and become successful. However, any artist can succeed anywhere as long as they work hard enough. He or she does not necessarily have to be associated with Live Nation Inc. Nevertheless, you have the ability to persuade in favor of a particular point of view from the way ideas have been expressed in the article. Good work.

I agree with the ideas presented in the paper. In essence, the advantage that a company can get over the competition is if it differentiates its products, like the way the student describes Hershey. According to marketing experts, innovation, customer loyalty programs, and brand awareness are some of the factors that determine the performance of products in the market. Therefore, what Hershey is doing, according to the student, shows that the company is one of the strongest in the confectionaries industry. Great Job.
