China`s Communist Party (CCP) is among the largest communist organizations ruling politically in the whole world. It was founded in Shanghai in the year 1921, July 1st, The party has governed the People`s Republic of China since 1949 to date. The founders were Marx and Lenin who were later given the first honor in leadership and the whole ideology called the Marxism-Leninism. During the CCP`s beginning, China was very far behind, and without unity which was led by different warlords who were locally arranged. These local leaders could only be encumbered by disproportionate agreements that could not so much involve the citizen. This could then give the foreigners good and enough time to highly exploit the economic civil liberties in China.
The USSR`s influence through it`s substantial help in economy of China on it`s earlier steps to the world of socialism was very much evident. At this time of development, the country fully supported the communism ideology. This is the time that most leaders came up and joined as a sign of unity and decided to pull the hands of the other leaders who were trying to bring up the idea of socialism. The very first leaders of the CCP received financial support and various teaching that could help them understand more on the communism type of government from the soviet teachers or chosen advisors. Most people went to the USSR`s Union where they could be taught formally and trained.
In 1922, the Chinese Nationalist Party (KMT) was formed as a result of the CCP joining the most powerful and prevalent radical party. It then formed the First United Front which was active until 1927 and was fully engrossed to ensure working together without any misunderstanding that occurred. Through working in unity, they achieved in organization of the urban workers and farmers who could help in supporting their armies with different needs i.e. food and medicine during the time of security and protection of territory. This was the time of expeditions and mostly occurred in 1926-1927.
After the success of the armies over the warlords, the country was unified but some leadership wrangles arose whereby the KMT split and was against the communism. Thousands and thousands of people were killed as a result of the chaos but most members and supporters of CCP were affected. KMT afterwards decided to form a new Republic of China (ROC) in a city called Nanjing, It still went ahead to strongly oppose the CCP. The CCP members feared and fled to the rural areas where they tried to establish semi-permanent administrative based areas in which they later named it the Chinese Soviet Republic. This is when they also tried to organize their own military group which composed the workers in Chinese and the peasant s` Red army.
However, the party grew up once again and its headquarters located at the rural Jiangxi soviet base area. After the KMT realized the power coming from the CCP, they tried to initiate several military campaigns against the opponent`s controlled areas. This then forced the CCP to face the Long March which took several militia men for a retreat that was finalized in the rural villages of Yenan. At this time, soviet teachers were manipulated by Mao Zedong who later took over the control. The CCP could now get the support of at most the people who were staying at the rural areas. This helped them to successfully redistribute the land from individual ownership to the peasants. The success of the CCP over the KMT brought about the power of unity to fight the Japanese out the territory and freedom in China experienced.
