Currently, the migration crisis has become a major challenge for European politicians. After the terrorist attacks in Paris on November 13 events in Cologne, and the recent terrorist attacks in Brussels migrants have lost the sympathy of the almost all of Europeans. Some experts even think that EU may crack due to quotas for distribution of the refugees. Eastern European countries opposed the introduction of quotas. The Austrian Government passed a bill that toughened the immigration rules. The refugees arrived in the country will have an ID card valid for three years. After a three-year tenure in the country, the issue of the deportation would be considered again. If deportation to their homeland would not endanger the life of a refugee, he may be deported. Moreover, daily Austria will take no more than 80 applications for refugee status, and pass on its territory no more than 3200 migrants who intend to seek refuge in neighboring countries (Murphy).
Germany is the absolute leader of the European Union in the number of the accepted immigrants. However, Angela Merkel proclaimed that migrants from the Middle East have to return to their motherland after the end of war and instability in their country (Delcker). Germany insists on the need for equitable distribution of refugees among all EU member states. German authorities announced a strengthening of asylum rules in order to reduce the flow of refugees to the country. In addition, the German government approved a simplified deportation of aliens who committed crimes. In the early 20016, the German parliament passed a new package of laws on refugees, which is expected to speed up the procedure for consideration of asylum applications and deportation of failed.
Unfortunately, the EU still do not have an effective policy on the solution of this problem. The Mediterranean countries have to deal with the problem of illegal immigration on their own. In my opinion, only settlement of the conflicts in Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq will stop the European migratory crisis. Neither the barbed wire nor quotas or deportations will not stop a flow of the people escaping from bombings and fear of death.
