- LOG OFF OPTION
In Log off option all applications pertaining to a running session will end. All network connection of that session also get disconnected. By using log off option the user returns to main screen of welcome where the user can see login windows and other users can also input login detail and can access a new session and start working .
- SWITCH USER OPTION
Switch User option seems same as log off option but the only difference is that in this option all programs running in the session and all network connections of that session will remain active in memory of computer. After activating Switch User option the user will return to main screen of welcome which allows other users to login and start new session while last session is still in active mode (which could be access later on).
- SLEEP OPTION
Sleep option can also be called as low power way of session. In this option a session is active but the user’s system will go on sleep mode. To start from sleep the user needs to press start button again in order to bring the screen back where it was. The user will have welcome screen from where the user can login to same user account and access last session or can login through any other user as well.
- HIBERNATE OPTION
In this option computer saves a session and its data in a compress form into the hard drive. After using this option system will shut down. As the user starts it again it will boot and take all data from hard disk and will show welcome screen and if the user login from same user account then he/she will be able to see all previously running applications.
