Birth control is very significant part of health care and it must not be attached to a lot of criticism. Every employee should be attached to proper healthcare compensation. It is not the role of the employer to dictate how employees use the compensation. The employees should be free to choose their lives and the health practices to embrace. Birth control being a major concern for different employees should be made clear as a logical and sensible element f health care. Birth control is cheaper than pregnancy as well as childbirth. The plans that cover birth control are cheaper than the plans to give birth to sustain pregnancy. No employer should dictate to the employees on whether to engage in birth control. It is also wise to understand that no employer can force religious beliefs on employees. There is freedom of worship hence beliefs about an individual can depend on one’s religion.
The issue of contraceptives is extensively critical and it raises sensitive argument between the government and individuals. Companies are not ready to interfere with the birth control methods chosen by the employees unless the employees do it with the company’s money and resources. The issue of contraceptives should be between partners and based on the birth control methods of a country. The government is responsible of giving the best contraception method. However, the government may control the kind of contraceptives the individuals take. Cost is a major factor in determining the form of contraceptives to use. It is upon individuals to use the most preferable method to them. This is after considering factors such as cost, the effectiveness, and the side effects of the method that individuals wish to use.
